At Al Mustafa Trust, we are driven by a deep commitment making a positive impact in the social sector of Pakistan. Our mission is to provide free healthcare, facilities through medical centers and dispensaries, and other essential resources to impoverished communities in Pakistan, including clean drinking water and essential relief and rehabe support in natural calamities i.e Flood/Earthquake. Al Mustafa Trust is a beacon of hope for those in need of free primary healthcare facilities throughout Pakistan. Since our establishment in 1998, we have moved a long way making unparallel progress, now having 52 medical facilities i.e. medical centers/dispensaries. The Trust is operating at 102 localities, 70% rural and 30% urban areas. Its number of beneficiaries currently stands at 1.4 million per year increasing 30-40% yearly which indicates the Trust reposed in our operations and functioning.
But we know that we cannot perform this gigantic task without your support for this noble cause. You can help us to make a meaningful impact for the communities living life of penury.
Our story began with the establishment of a small dispensary in Ghareebabad area of Rawalpindi Cantt, thanks to a generous philanthropist
The Trust was named after the attributed name of our Holy Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (Peace be upon him) by our founding father, Lt Gen Ghulam Muhammad Malik (Retd) and his companions. Its idea was conceived in the spiritual environment of Jamia Mosque of Chaklala Scheme III, Rawalpindi Cantt. In the past 25 years the Trust has established its indelible footprints in three provinces of Pakistan i.e Punjab, Sindh & KPK and Azad Kashmir, healing the teaming millions.
The distinctive features of Trust services are totally free treatment/diagnostic for poor patients, Volunteer senior management, minimum administrative expenses, countrywide rural/urban services, clinical services at the door step through mobile units and paperless operations. Some of our centers have been designated for TB treatment while the vaccination of children is a regular feature in almost all the centers. With the generous support of our donors, the network of Al Mustafa Trust is continuously expanding.
The Trust is registered as Al Mustafa Charitable Trust in USA as 501(c)(3), Tax ID 81-1374154.
Provision of basic healthcare and diagnostic facilities to the impoverished segment of society at their door step with a view to preventing hospitalization.
Provide primary health care free of cost, to the poor and needy people and at reduced rates to those who can afford to pay.
- Establish Medical Centers, Dispensaries and Mobile Dispensaries for effective primary medical care of poor and needy people, in poor localities of Urban and Rural areas with special emphasis on rural areas of Pakistan.
- Arrange free specialist medical consultancy to patients through specialists of repute where possible.
- Provide medicines and required diagnostic facilities (Pathology Laboratory, X-Ray, ECG, Ultra Sound, etc.) free of cost to deserving cases and at reduced rates to those who can afford to pay.
- Arrange health awareness programs for prevention and control of diseases, especially in the poor localities.
- Reach out to patients of far flung areas through mobile dispensaries and organizing Medical Camps.
- Provision of Clean drinking water in water scarcity areas.
- Provision of essential services during relief and rehabilitation phase in calamity hit areas, subject to availability of resources.
- Any other Project/activity, inline with the Mission and Objectives of the Trust.
